TOURNAMENTS--------------------------------------------------- Martial Arts World tournaments are open for all students to attend and allow them the chance to compete with themselves, while competing with others. These tournaments are motivational, filled with excitement, and bring out the competitive spirit in students. They are an incentive that constructively encourages students to improve upon their skills and techniques in their level of training. In competing, winners may increase in their esteem of themselves, and for those that are defeated in competitions; they may learn the art of winning by losing.
Tournaments are arranged 2-3 times a year through Martial Arts World regionally or, at times, locally. Students are tested on forms, breaking, sparring, grappling, Ki Kum Do, tag team, team exhibitions, and the martial arts action-movie star competition.
EXHIBITIONS----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exhibitions are performed by those involved in the Martial Arts World’s Dream Team, Master’s Quest, or any other students who want to volunteer. These exhibitions are typically in public settings, if not at the local school. Martial Arts World exhibitions are exciting demonstrations showcasing amazing techniques that visually show the benefits of training in the martial arts. In addition to the outstanding technique to be gained from those training for these exhibitions, they will also benefit from gaining a newfound strength and confidence from aligning themselves with a network of support with other Martial Arts World teammates.
