Black belt ceremonies are a congratulatory celebration for those who have successfully completed their black belt testing. This is an event that serves to give acknowledgment to those that have devoted their time, talent, passion, and dedication to the study of martial arts, and encourages them to pursue further advancement as practitioners.
Here, many will be recognized for the achievement of fulfilling their long-term goal of obtaining a black belt, while also hoping to inspire the students in continuing to set even higher goals.
These ceremonies are administered at the student’s local school two to three times a year, with at least a two month interim after black belt testing.
